The Challenge at Hand
Without current knowledge and proper training on Canadian Internet Service Providers, the Dell Canada and Dell India call centres, Dell online and Dell direct stores were not pumping at their full potential with regards to upgrading and cross promoting internet services. Imaginis Marketing stepped in as representation of first and second tier internet companies like TELUS to educate, assist and motivate increased Dell and TELUS sales.
The Creative Solution
Imaginis Marketing catered a very specific marketing program for Dell’s internal staff, consisting of sales training, call centre support and motivating incentive programs. Along with developing detailed program analysis reports, we implemented new sales processing tools and managements, as well as marketing communications and online planning integration. Imaginis Marketing took the lead at all Dell support centres, and represented the program solidly at the Dell Canadian head office. We also developed a system where all high speed internet providers could integrate their programs and service offerings into a succinct online ordering tool.
The Staggering Results
With the launch of a new in-house signup process, Bell Internet sales tripled in its first year. Similarly, TELUS gained a 5% market share in a targeted program through Dells call centre support teams. Dell achieved a 9% internet revenue growth from hiring Imaginis Marketing’s team to manage a new outbound sales team.
